Riverside’s Lucero Wins Scratch Main

Steve Lucero of Riverside won the four-lap scratch main event in the weekly speedway motorcycle program Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano was second, Mike Faria of Colton third and Robert Pfetzing of Orange fourth.

Pfetzing won the eight-lap handicap main event. Chris Manchester of Hesperia was second, Lucero was third, Faria was fourth and Charlie Venegas of Costa Mesa was fifth.
