Shuttle Bugged

A few weeks ago I made a reservation with an (airport) shuttle service and it was a miserable experience. Apparently, shuttle vans can only cruise the airport for fares when they have a reserved passenger to pick up. They are then able to enter the airport for customers going to the same geographic area. I was heading for West Los Angeles that night. After the driver picked me up, he drove endlessly around the airport, trying to stuff as many passengers as possible into his vehicle. When the driver was not satisfied with the number of people going to my neighborhood, he just changed the destination sign on the front of the van. When we finally left LAX, the driver got lost going to a major hotel.

I thought that the shuttle service at LAX was supposed to be improving. I’ve gone back to driving my own car.
