Crescenta Valley : Water Rates Go Higher
Rates for customers of the Crescenta Valley County Water District will be raised by 12.5% Oct. 1 to offset higher costs of importing water from the Metropolitan Water District, local officials said Tuesday.
The increase will raise the average monthly bill of $36 for 16,000 gallons of water by about $4, said Robert K. Argenio, general manager of the Crescenta district.
