The Atlanta Braves are willing to let center fielder Deion Sanders play cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons on Sundays as long as he plays baseball during the week. But the Falcons say it’s not that simple.
“It would be difficult,” said Jim Hay, the Falcons’ chief financial officer.
The Falcons have extended to Aug. 1 an $800,000 offer to leave the Braves and join the football team.
