San Diego : 1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Drive-By Shooting
A drive-by shooting Wednesday in City Heights left one man dead and two others injured.
Allan L. Crose, 34, of City Heights, became the city’s seventh homicide victim since Friday, San Diego homicide detectives said. Crose was struck at least twice, and died at the scene in the 3800 block of 37th Street, Lt. Barbara Henderson said.
Two wounded victims were taken to nearby hospitals. A 24-year-old San Diego man was in good condition at Mercy Hospital after being treated for wounds to his left leg and body, nursing supervisor Sue Flannery said.
Mario Macias, 35, of San Diego is in serious condition at UC San Diego Medical Center where he is being treated for gunshot wounds to the stomach and the upper body, nursing supervisor Monica Manzer said.
