Warady Wins 30th Leg as Race Moves to Kansas
David Warady of Huntington Beach won the 30th stage of the Runner’s World Trans America Footrace Sunday as the competitors left Colorado and crossed into Kansas.
Warady covered the 51.15 miles from Joes, Colo., to St. Francis, Kan., in 7 hours 31 minutes 50 seconds.
He leads the 64-day event by 6:21:09. The runners have covered 1,325.35 of the approximately 3,000 it will take to cross the United States.
