CSUF to Take Spring Applications Aug. 3
Cal State Fullerton will begin accepting applications for its spring 1993 semester on Aug. 3, but university officials warned Wednesday that they would admit only a limited number of transfer students and those seeking graduate and postgraduate programs.
James Blackburn, director of admissions and records for the Fullerton campus, added that only transfer students with at least 56 transferable college units would be considered.
Even then, the ongoing state budget crisis will mean fewer spaces than usual for the spring semester, which usually begins in late January.
Blackburn advised prospective students to submit their applications by mid-September. He also warned that higher grade-point averages will be required for admission to the School of Business Administration and Economics. Because of the heavy student demand for business programs, no out-of-state students will be accepted.
