A 33-year-old West Hills man was shot to death Thursday, apparently during an attempted robbery at the check cashing business he owned and operated in North Hollywood, Los Angeles police said.
Chaim Movshovitz, an Israeli citizen, was shot twice by one of two men who entered I M Check Cashing in the 13000 block of Sherman Way about 10 a.m., homicide Detective Steve Fisk said.
