Rap and Race: The Reaction

What if the 60 members of Congress, the California attorney general, the County Board of Supervisors, the NRA and the national police organizations that have protested “Cop Killer” instead sent letters to the most repressive and abusive police departments throughout the United States, requesting that they uphold the oaths taken by each member to protect citizens and that they renounce brutality?

This would be a positive approach, rather than one of censorship of a record company. Rap artists would have one less reason to write such lyrics.
