An 800-acre brush fire blamed on teen-agers playing with fireworks was brought under control after rain helped firefighters gain the upper hand.

The fire was controlled Sunday, a day after the rain fell, said U.S. Forest Service spokesman Brent McBeth. The blaze in the foothills above Pleasant Grove, about 25 miles south of Salt Lake City, began on Friday.

Two boys, ages 16 and 17, were arrested Saturday and referred to Juvenile Court.
