Morgan Leading Hartford Open

Gil Morgan took the tournament lead midway through Friday’s rain-shortened second round of the Greater Hartford Open at Cromwell, Conn. Morgan birdied two of his final four holes and moved to six-under-par 134 with a two-under 68 for the day.
Kenny Knox and defending champion Billy Ray Brown were tied with Morgan at six under and will resume second-round play this morning. Knox finished four holes and Brown six before play was suspended with 80 players on the course.
