NATIONAL CITY : Youth, 18, Killed in Drive-By Slaying
An 18-year-old National City youth was killed early Saturday in a drive-by shooting outside a home in the city, police said.
Julio Bracamontes Jr. was standing outside a home in the 100 block of East 3rd Street when he was struck in the back by a bullet fired from a passing car, authorities said. A second youth was also hit in the 1 a.m. incident, but he was treated at an area hospital and released.
Police did not say whether Bracamontes lived at the residence or what caused the shooting.
