Terry Teagle, a member of the Lakers for the past two seasons, has signed a one-year contract with Benetton Treviso of the Italian League, it was reported Tuesday night on Prime Ticket’s “Press Box.”
Teagle, 32, is a 10-year NBA veteran, having also played with Houston, Detroit and Golden State. The Lakers acquired the 6-foot-5 swing man from the Warriors on Sept. 25, 1990, in exchange for a first-round draft choice.
He averaged just under 10 points per game with the Lakers in the 1990-91 season and more than 10 points per game last season.
Teagle reportedly will earn more than $1 million next season after earning $700,000 with the Lakers last season.
