SAN DIEGO : Truck Crash Kills 1
A 24-year-old woman was killed late Friday when she was thrown from a pickup truck that had been involved in a traffic accident in San Diego, police said.
The accident occurred about 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of 40th and Epsilon streets, police said. According to authorities, a car collided with the pickup in which the woman was a passenger.
Herlinda Espindola was thrown from the truck and was crushed when the vehicle’s cab rolled over her head. She died at the scene. Her 4-year-old and her 23-year-old cousin were slightly injured.
