Karch Kiraly and Kent Steffes defeated Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos, 15-11, in the championship match of the Pro Beach Volleyball Miller Lite Open at Cleveland.
It was the 13th consecutive victory for Kiraly and Steffes, which ties the record for consecutive victories, set by Greg Lee and Jim Menges in 1975-76. Steffes has been in 19 of 20 finals and has 16 victories, which ties the season record set by Smith and Stoklos in 1987.
