Orange Crush Advances in Tournament

The Orange Crush, a team representing San Diego at the World Series of the Continental Amateur Baseball Assn. in Dublin, Ohio, won its first two games of the championship bracket, upending Arizona, 12-4, then cruising past Puerto Rico, 10-0.

Both games went only 4 1/2 innings before an eight-run mercy rule ended them.

In the first game, Mike Colanga hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth, Eric Munson went three for three and had a two-run double in the first inning.
