200-Acre Fire Doused in Chatsworth Area

More than 70 Los Angeles city firefighters battled a 200-acre brush fire Saturday in Chatsworth, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Seven helicopters dropped water on flames that broke out around 5:30 p.m. in a rocky area northwest of Chatsworth Park North, city fire spokesman Bob Collis said. With the wind in their favor, firefighters extinguished the blaze within two hours.
