VENTURA : Man Robs Bank Using Demand Note

A Ventura bank was robbed Thursday by a man who fled with an undisclosed amount of money, officials said.
The robbery occurred just after 3 p.m., when a man in his early 20s entered the Security Pacific Bank branch at 507 E. Main St. and approached a teller, Ventura Police Sgt. Doug Auldridge said.
The robber gave the teller a demand note and fled the bank after receiving the money, he said. Witnesses did not report seeing a weapon.
