HUNTINGTON BEACH — A man believed to be carrying a gun and with an “obvious pot belly” robbed a gas station while the clerk had the store’s safe open, police said Sunday.
Buck’s Unocal, at 8998 Adams Ave., was robbed of an undetermined amount of cash when the man walked into the store about 6 p.m., police said.
The robber said, “Give me your money,” and carried a gray nylon bag, which the clerk believed contained a gun, police said.
The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and baseball cap and is described as white, in his 20s, about six feet tall and 170 pounds with collar-length blond hair.
