Nevada Las Vegas officials are looking into a $15,000 loan given to former academic adviser Ron Allen by a Colorado sports agent. Allen is the roommate of Rebel basketball player J.R. Rider, and signed a bail slip for the athlete last January when Rider was arrested for obstructing a police officer.
