RESEDA : Reward Offered in Robbery at School
The Los Angeles Unified School District is offering a $7,000 reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of two men who robbed a Reseda school official of his Rolex watch and other items at gunpoint in his campus office.
Dmitri Vadetzky, an assistant principal at Reseda High School, was confronted by a gun-wielding robber and an accomplice who entered his office about 2:40 p.m. on Aug. 24 posing as a camp counselor and a potential student. The pair took Vadetzky’s Rolex watch, a gold bracelet and about $250 in cash before fleeing the campus and firing shots into the air, slightly injuring a student.
School police have issued flyers detailing the robbery and encouraging witnesses to come forward.
