Bomb Tests and Quakes
Anger and frustration have finally forced me to write this letter. The final straw was the St. George, Utah, earthquake (Sept. 3).
Government scientists would have us believe that the atomic tests in Nevada have nothing to do with the swarm of earthquakes jolting the West Coast. Why is it that the earthquakes are happening in a circle which emanates from the Nevada test center? When are the government scientists going to stop their technological inexactitudes? I am a reasonably intelligent American with a fair background in science among other things. The proof is now overwhelming that we should cease these tests at once if we wish the Western U.S. to remain habitable.
