4th-Graders on Wetlands Wildlife

Share

These letters were written by students in Cathy Scott Skubik’s fourth-grade class at Harbor Math/Science Magnet School in San Pedro. This is about the foxes in the Ballona Creek Wetlands. I think the Audubon Society shouldn’t be so mad at the Wildlife Protection League because they didn’t put the foxes in the wetlands. Even though the birds are endangered species, killing the foxes is still killing wildlife. So I think neither one should be killed. I would send the foxes to a forest in England, because they might be wanted there. While we’re searching for a place in England and other countries, we could put the foxes in a zoo.
