NORTH HOLLYWOOD : Burbank Woman Dies After Crash
A 33-year-old Burbank woman died early Tuesday morning from injuries she suffered when her car slammed into a tree in North Hollywood, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Kristin Newark was driving east on Chandler Boulevard near Buffalo Avenue at 11:40 p.m. Monday, when her car ran off the road and hit a tree, Officer Robert Robinson said. Newark was taken to Sherman Oaks Hospital and Health Center, where she died an hour later of massive chest injuries.
