Events of the Coming Week
Saturday: The Conejo Democratic Club and the Thousand Oaks Committee to Elect Anthony Beilenson will open a Thousand Oaks campaign office with a 9:30 a.m. breakfast for Beilenson and his wife, Dolores. Rep. Beilenson (D-Los Angeles) is facing a challenge from Assemblyman Tom McClintock (R-Thousand Oaks) in the newly created 24th district, which includes the Conejo Valley, Malibu and part of the San Fernando Valley. After a free continental breakfast, volunteers will participate in a kickoff round of precinct walking. The Beilenson campaign office is at 223 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Suite 212, in the Bank of America building. For more information, call 379-1914.
