WEEKEND TV : ‘Funniest,’ ‘Murder’ and ‘Nest’ Return

Several season premieres and returning shows will highlight this weekend’s television viewing.
Tonight, NBC will air the new “Here and Now,” at 8, and “Out All Night,” at 8:30 on (4)(36)(39). Later, “Empty Nest” at 9 and “Nurses” (9:30) will return for new seasons.
Fox’s new comedy ensemble show “The Edge,” will premiere at 9:30 p.m. (11)(6).
Sunday’s returning shows include “Life Goes On,” 7 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42); “Murder, She Wrote,” 8 p.m. (2)(8); “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” 8 p.m. and “America’s Funniest People,” 8:30 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42).
Vice President Dan Quayle will be interviewed Sunday on “Meet the Press,” as the show expands to an hour at 7 a.m. (4)(39); 8 a.m. (36).
And Rich Bond and Ron Brown, Republican and Democratic national committee chairmen, will appear on “Face the Nation,” Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (2), 11:30 p.m. (8).
