San Diego police were searching Saturday for two men involved in a Mountain View Park area shooting late Friday that left one man dead and two people injured, authorities said.
A 37-year-old area resident was pronounced dead at the scene after the shooting at 11:50 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Olivewood Terrace, officials said. The man’s identity was withheld pending notification of relatives.
Also struck by gunfire during the incident were Ernesto Vellasquez and Maria Rios, both of San Diego, officials said. They were treated at UC San Diego Medical Center.
