The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Sept. 14 and Sept. 20: Glendale
North Orange Street, 300 block--Since August, jewelry, costumes and furniture, valued at more than $1,000, and $92 cash have been reported stolen from a theater.
Brookhill Street, 3300 block--A crystal chandelier, valued at $1,600, and two VCRs, an Iranian teapot set, a gun and a watch, valued together at $3,100, were stolen from a house between 1 and 5:40 p.m. Sept. 14.
Geneva Street, 300 block--An off-duty cab driver reported that he was assaulted by three men who also broke the windows of his cab when he refused to give them a ride at 5:50 p.m. Sept. 15.
North Brand Boulevard, 200 block--A woman and her two daughters were racially harassed and then assaulted by five girls who tried to steal the woman’s purse at 7 p.m. Sept. 15.
Dale Avenue, 700 block--A toolbox containing machinist’s tools valued at $2,000 were stolen from a garage between noon and 5 p.m. Sept. 16.
East Harvard Street, 400 block--A woman reported that her grandson and his girlfriend stole $2,500 cash and her car at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 16.
Cleveland Road, 1200 block--A house was burglarized between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 17. A VCR, computer, CD player, stereo equipment and 100 CDs, valued together at more than $3,100, were stolen.
North Everett Street, 500 block--A music synthesizer valued at $500 was stolen from an apartment at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 18. The victim had advertised the item for sale and given directions to the apartment to a male caller.
Glendale Avenue and Palmer Avenue--A man was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property during a drunk-driving stop after police found three bank cards and a credit card belonging to other people in his possession at 1:55 a.m. Sept. 19.
Palmer Avenue and Boynton Street--A 5-year-old boy walking with his mother was injured in the abdomen by a BB fired from an unknown location at 4:40 p.m. Sept. 20. The boy’s wound required minor surgery. There were no arrests.
La Canada Flintridge
Crown Avenue, 5200 block--Forty-nine blank checks were stolen from a closet in a house between July 1 and Sept. 19. The theft was discovered after a police officer called the victims to inform them that a suspect had been arrested for trying to use the checks.
La Crescenta
North Briggs Avenue, 4700 block--A parrot, valued at $800, was stolen from its cage in a home between 4:45 and 5:20 p.m. Sept. 14.
La Crescenta Avenue, 4300 block--A woman reported that three trees and vines on her property valued at $3,500 were cut down without her permission between 2 and 7 p.m. Sept. 15.
Glenwood Avenue, 4700 block--Musical instruments and two CD players, valued together at $2,040, were stolen from a garage at 4:15 a.m. Sept. 18. The thief was confronted by the victim but escaped in a car.
Atwater Village
Cerritos Avenue, 5700 block--In a parking lot, four men robbed three people at gunpoint of $108 cash at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 15.
Glendale Boulevard, 2500 block--Shopping carts valued at $3,000 were stolen from a parking lot by a man at 7:20 a.m. Sept. 19.
Cypress Park
West Avenue 28, 500 block--Burglars smashed through the roof of a store and stole firearms and money valued at $3,250 on Sept. 13 or 14.
North Figueroa Street, 2600 block--A gas station attendant holding a bag of money was assaulted by a man at 8:45 a.m. Sept. 14. When two witnesses intervened, the bag ripped open and the thief fled with $5,500 cash.
North Figueroa Street, 3300 block--Two men pulled a necklace valued at $3,000 from a person’s neck at a junior high school at 7 p.m. Sept. 17.
Eagle Rock
Toland Way, 4500 block--Computer equipment valued at $2,132 was stolen from a school between Sept. 11 and 14.
Colorado Boulevard, 2700 block--A woman with a handgun robbed a jewelry store clerk of jewelry valued at $82,500 at 8:25 p.m. Sept. 14 while a male accomplice stood as a lookout.
Oak Grove Drive, 1200 block--Burglars stole firearms and a TV valued at $1,300 from a house between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 15.
Yosemite Drive, 1300 block--Two men robbed a market clerk of $1,050 at 9 p.m. Sept. 18.
Echo Park
Sunset Boulevard, 1600 block--Two men robbed a market clerk at gunpoint of money and lottery tickets valued together at $849 at 8 p.m. Sept. 14.
Los Angeles Street, 1400 block--A woman reported that a piece of jewelry valued at $800 was snatched from her by a man as she stood outside her place of business at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 16.
North Lake Street, 100 block--Burglars pried open the front door of a home between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 17 and stole a stereo valued at $5,025.
North Alvarado Street, 1300 block--Three men with a handgun confronted a person in a parking facility. They took the person’s car and $532 cash at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 20.
Glassell Park
West Avenue 31, 2700 block--Thieves entered a house through an unlocked back door, ransacked the premises and stole money and jewelry, valued at $2,100, between 3 and 10 p.m. Sept. 15.
Highland Park
North Figueroa Street, 4000 block--Two men armed with a revolver entered a bar and robbed the patrons and the bartender of $1,017 cash at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 16.
Stratford Road, 5300 block--Thieves entered a house through a bathroom window between 6:15 and 10 p.m. Sept. 18 and stole cameras and jewelry valued at $1,586.
York Boulevard, 5100 block--On Sept. 18 or 19, money and musical equipment valued at $9,500 were stolen from a fast-food restaurant.
Monte Vista Street, 4900 block--Jewelry and money valued at $5,000 were stolen from a house on Sept. 19 or 20.
York Boulevard, 5700 block--A man robbed a market clerk at gunpoint of $300 at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20.
Los Feliz
Los Feliz Boulevard, 2900 block--Money and a stereo valued together at $2,240 were stolen from a bar between Sept. 13 and 15.
Holly Knoll Drive, 4100 block--Cash and a TV valued together at $3,757 were stolen from a house on Sept. 14 or 15.
Talmadge Street, 2200 block--A burglar entered an unlocked bedroom window of a home and stole jewelry valued at $10,050 at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 17.
North El Centro Avenue, 1600 block--A thief entered a health spa locker room and stole $2,500 in jewelry and money from patrons between 8 and 10 p.m. Sept. 16.
Silver Lake
Kenilworth Avenue, 2400 block--Computer and camera equipment valued at $6,600 were stolen from a house between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 17.
Santa Monica Boulevard, 4500 block--Four men armed with a gun and knives robbed two people on the street of jewelry and money valued together at $1,210 at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 19.
Micheltorena Street, 2100 block--Burglars broke into a house and stole a stereo and business machines valued at $2,500 at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
