Westwood : Workshop on Trauma

A one-day workshop, “Helping Our Communities Heal: Methods for Dealing with Individual and Group Trauma,” will be offered by the UCLA Extension from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at UCLA’s Dickson Art Center.
Leaders will include Alex Norman, professor emeritus of UCLA’s School of Social Welfare; Bonnie Mark, a consultant to Reiss-Davis Child Study Center and supervisor of the Southern California Counseling Center, and experts from Cal State Northridge, the County Department of Mental Health, the Brotherhood Organization of New Destiny, the U.S. attorney’s Office and American Red Cross Mental Health Emergency Services.
