A San Marcos college student and two Navy men were killed early Sunday when their cars collided and overturned in an intersection--an accident that also injured four other people, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

Angela Renee Limina, 20, of the 500 block of Rancheros Road in San Marcos was driving south on Old Highway 101 and Via de la Valle at 1:30 a.m. when she collided with a westbound Jeep containing five people. Both vehicles overturned after colliding.

Limina, a student at Cal State San Marcos, died at the scene after authorities pulled her from her car. Her passenger, Michael Brooks, a 25-year-old Carlsbad resident, was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital by Life Flight helicopter.
