Some CVS Stores Renamed: Anaheim-based American Drug Stores has renamed 62 of the CVS pharmacies it recently purchased. The stores--now called Sav-On Express--have been connected to the company’s electronic prescription system, which makes it possible to refill prescriptions at any Sav-On location. American Drug Stores acquired 85 CVS stores from Rye, N.Y.-based Melville Corp. in February.
