San Diego : CHP Clamps Down on Freeway Speeders
The California Highway Patrol is cracking down on speeders in San Diego County this month.
The strict speed-limit enforcement will be concentrated--but not limited to--the northern ends of Interstates 5 and 15, as well as California 163, officials said.
Special teams of three to four patrol units will travel the freeways to make sure drivers comply with the 55 m.p.h. speed limit, especially in areas where high speed has been a factor in accidents, officials said.
