Kendrick Tribute: Gladys Knight; Little Richard; Hall & Oates; Earth, Wind & Fire; Little Steven; Dionne Warwick; Al Green, and Paul Shaffer will be among the performers as singer Bobby Womack hosts a benefit tribute to the late Eddie Kendrick on Friday and Saturday at the Strand in Redondo Beach. Kendrick, an original member of the Temptations, died of lung cancer last week. The bulk of the proceeds from the four shows, at 8 and 11 both nights, will go to Kendrick’s family.

Not Performing--Because of incorrect information supplied by the show’s organizers, Hall & Oates were incorrectly listed among the acts set to perform at the tribute to Eddie Kendrick at the Strand this weekend.
