GLENDALE : 2 Students Arrested After Stabbing at High School
Two Hoover High School students were arrested after stabbing another student in the back Monday during a fight on the Glendale campus as classes let out, authorities said.
Glendale Police Sgt. Lief Nicolaisen said Tuesday that Nersis Baghdasarian, 18, and a 17-year-old, whose name was not released, stabbed the victim twice in the lower back while the victim was fighting with a fourth youth over a girl.
Baghdasarian and the 17-year-old were not involved in the original quarrel, but they had “some kind of grudge against the victim” and seized the opportunity to hurt him, Nicolaisen said.
The victim, a 17-year-old Glendale resident whose name was not released, was in stable condition at County-USC Medical Center, Nicolaisen said.
