Countywide : Campaign Fund Reports Differ for Perez Ferguson
Democratic congressional candidate Anita Perez Ferguson has about $22,000 less cash on hand for the final days of her campaign to unseat Rep. Elton Gallegly (R-Simi Valley) than her campaign manager estimated, according to campaign finance statements.
Financial disclosure forms released Friday reported that Perez Ferguson raised $221,927 from July 1 through Sept. 30.
She had $103,794 left at the close of the period.
She spent $151,184 during the period, including the repayment of a $37,000 loan from herself, the forms show.
The financial report figures differ from the figures released by Perez Ferguson’s campaign manager, Sam Rodriguez, late Thursday.
Rodriguez had listed the candidate’s earnings for the period at about $25,000 less than she took in.
And her available cash on hand at $22,293 more than she actually had.
About 44% of Perez Ferguson’s most recent contributions came from special-interest political action committees, down slightly from the 48% PACs have contributed this year.
