SAN YSIDRO : Man Fatally Stabbed in Parking Lot
A 36-year-old man found in a San Ysidro parking lot late Tuesday has died of stab wounds, authorities said.
Emilio Ramirez, 36, reportedly from Los Angeles, was found stabbed in the 600 block of E. San Ysidro Boulevard. He was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he died about 10:25 p.m., the county medical examiner’s office said.
Police said that just before 9 p.m., a person called to report a man lying wounded in a parking lot. Ramirez was semiconscious when police arrived and he had been robbed. He said he had noticed a light-blue car leaving the scene, the spokesman said.
Officials are searching for Ramirez’s relatives and request that anyone with information about the family call authorities at 694-2895.
