PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Evans Bounces Back, Again
Vince Evans is back. Again.
Evans, who has spent the last few seasons bouncing back and forth between the Raider roster and his year-round job in golf course management, bounced back onto the Raider roster Wednesday.
To make room for the 37-year-old veteran, the Raiders waived defensive back Sammy Seale. Seale, in his ninth season, appeared in five of the Raiders’ seven games in a limited role.
Evans was waived before the season, brought back in Week 5, then waived again last week.
Quarterback Todd Marinovich, knocked out of last week’s game at Seattle with a sprained knee, suffered no lasting damage and took his regular turns in practice Wednesday.
