Power People: CAA chairman and super-agent Michael Ovitz tops Entertainment Weekly magazine’s list of the “101 Most Powerful People in Entertainment” for the second year in a row. Steven Ross and Gerald Levin, co-CEOs of Time Warner, share the No. 2 spot and Barry Diller, the former Fox CEO, is in third place on the third annual roster out this week. Now for a big shock . . . not: Madonna is the highest-ranking celebrity and woman on the list at No. 10. Oprah Winfrey, who was ranked 94 last year, made the leap to No. 11. Newcomers include Prince (36), Garth Brooks (42), Barbra Streisand (48) and the cast of “Beverly Hills, 90210” (89). Michael Jackson didn’t make it this year, but Dan Quayle did. Quayle came in at 101.5 for boosting “Murphy Brown” ratings with comments about the show.
