Giving Up on GOP
In past elections, I always voted for the candidates who espoused views similar to mine with little thought to party affiliation. However, after the Republican convention and adoption of their far right, fundamentalist platform, I will not be voting for any Republicans--from the presidency to our local mayoral race.
The Republican platform has become one based on hate and intolerance. George Bush, Dan Quayle, Randy Cunningham, Bruce Herschensohn, and Duncan Hunter have taken the “dem” out of democracy and replaced it with a lot of “hyp.”
