5 Hurt in Freeway Crash in Burbank
Five people were injured--three critically--in a collision on the Ventura Freeway in Burbank, authorities said Sunday.
The accident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday at the Forest Lawn Drive exit of the westbound Ventura Freeway, California Highway Patrol officials said. The two left lanes of the freeway were blocked as rescue and traffic crews cleared the scene.
The injured, whose names and ages were not available, were taken to area hospitals, Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said.
