Bell 21, Garfield 6--Running back Bobby Sullivan rushed for 134 yards in 21 carries and a touchdown to lead host Bell in a Southeastern Conference win.

Bell also received a solid performance from running back Rene Ramirez, who rushed for 34 yards in 11 carries and a touchdown. Kicker Jimmy Carapia provided Garfield’s only offense, kicking field goals of 43 and 32 yards.
