Taste at Issue on Top 20 List

I could not believe “The Top 20 Valley Restaurants” (Times Valley Life, Oct. 23) when I read it. It might have made sense if the title of the article was “20 Valley Restaurants I Like” or “Valley Restaurants Which Show The Ethnic Variety Available.”

But “Top 20”!

There are many very good restaurants in the Valley, like Mon Grenier, Camille, Le Sangrier, etc., but none of these was mentioned. Obviously, Max Jacobson either does not know his way around the Valley or he would not know a good restaurant if it bit him.

If The Times wants its Valley Life edition to be taken seriously, I strongly suggest that you get someone more knowledgeable than Max Jacobson to write the restaurant reviews.
