PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE NFL : Packers’ Noble Expected to Return Against Eagles
Brian Noble, the Green Bay Packer linebacker who has been sidelined by a bruised back since Oct. 25, is expected to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“It’s a day-to-day thing. Just as long as his back doesn’t tighten up,” Coach Mike Holmgren said. “Today he felt pretty good and they banged around in practice yesterday.”
Brian Wagner will be the Packers’ punter after re-signing with the team when it waived Paul McJulien.
