Orange Coast Accepts Bid to Play Los Angeles Harbor in Bowl Game

Orange Coast has accepted a bid to play Los Angeles Harbor in the K-Swiss Classic at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at Los Angles Harbor, the college announced Monday.

OCC (7-3) finished second to Saddleback (10-0) in the Central Division of the Mission Conference. It will be the second bowl appearance for OCC Coach Bill Workman, who has a 43-28 mark in seven seasons. His Pirates lost to El Camino, 23-20, in the 1990 Orange County Bowl.

In the other Dec. 5 games: Saddleback plays City College of San Francisco (10-0) at 1 p.m., and Palomar (9-1) plays Mt. San Antonio (8-2) at 7 p.m. in the Simple Green Orange County Bowl doubleheader.

El Camino (8-2) plays at San Bernardino Valley (9-0-1) in the Southern California Bowl; Moorpark (9-0-1) is at Bakersfield (8-1-1) in the Shrine Potato Bowl; Antelope Valley (7-2-1) is at Glendale (8-2) in the K-Swiss Bowl, and College of the Desert (6-3-1) is at Pasadena (8-2) in the Pasadena Bowl.
