Pennsylvania Man Kills 3, Injures 4, Shoots Himself

GETTYSBURG, Pa. —
A man broke into a family’s farmhouse, killed three people, injured four and apparently shot himself before holding police at bay for two hours, authorities said.
Jose Guadalope Cruz, 20, was charged over the weekend with murder and attempted murder. He underwent surgery for a gunshot to the head, but police would not disclose his condition, Trooper Michael Gillelan said.
Cruz dated a daughter in the family, but the motive for the killings was not known, Gillelan said.
