Nick Faldo overcame windy conditions and shot a three-under-par 69 for the first-round lead in the Million Dollar Challenge golf tournament in Sun City, South Africa.
Faldo, the British Open champion, was one shot ahead of South Africans Ernie Els and David Frost in the quest for golf’s top prize, $1 million.
