Comparing 2 City Clerks
Daniel Martinez? Until a few months ago, we had never heard his name. He won the recent election to be Oxnard’s city clerk. But instead of doing the job he was elected to do, it appears he has taken on the job of inquisitor general for the city.
Mabi Plisky has been an outstanding Oxnard citizen and a skilled, proficient city employee. The residents of Oxnard should be happy to have her continued services in her new job.
It will be interesting to see how Mr. Martinez’s skills as city clerk compare to the excellent past performance of Mabi Plisky.
