Nikki McCray’s basket with 24 seconds left in overtime lifted No. 2-ranked Tennessee over No. 1 Stanford, 74-73, for the championship of the Wahine Classic at Honolulu.
Molly Goodenbour sank a three-pointer for Stanford (3-1) before the buzzer ending regulation to send the game into overtime tied, 64-64. McCray led Tennessee with 18 points. Val Whiting led Stanford with 31.
