Court Settlement: Two companies have agreed to pay “several million dollars” to relatives of a singer who died in a 1991 plane crash along with six other members of country entertainer Reba McEntire’s band. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed by the family of Paula Kaye Evans Wallace. Wallace’s family originally sought more than $60 million from Duncan Aircraft Sales and Prestige Touring Inc. In all, 10 people aboard the aircraft died shortly after its takeoff from San Diego.
