Cerritos : Cerritos Arts Center Dedication to Be Held Jan. 9
The new $60-million Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts will be formally dedicated Jan. 9 at 10 a.m.
Following ceremonies, the facility will host an open house until 3 p.m. with guided tours, refreshments and entertainment. Tours also will be given Jan. 10 from noon to 4 p.m.
During its first season, opening Jan. 13 with Frank Sinatra and running through June, the theater will present 40 attractions in 75 evenings of music, dance, theater, mime, ballet and modern dance. A movable seating system permits the auditorium to range from a 900-seat theater to a 1,963-seat concert hall, as well as a flat-floor arena.
The center is at 12700 Center Court Drive in Cerritos Towne Center.
